Food | Healthy 3 Ingredient Cookies

I find that one of the most difficult things when trying to eat healthy is finding simple, easy snacks that satisfy my sweet tooth. At least I felt this way until I discovered this three ingredient recipe that is so quick and easy to make. These cookies are delicious, and more importantly, healthy. They contain no dairy or gluten and are vegan!

Ingredients:
2 large browning bananas, 2 cups of organic rolled oats, 1 cup of add ins (ie. chocolate chips, raisins, walnuts) 
Step 1: Start my mashing two browned bananas in a mixing bowl.
 (The bananas are better when they are browning because they are easier to mash and they give off less sharp of a taste)
Make sure the it is mashed into a smooth consistency with little or no lumps.
Step 2: Blend two cups of organic rolled oats in a blender until they create a flour like texture.
Step 3: Mix the blended oats in with the mashed bananas and mix well. 

Step 4: Add in 1 cup of which ever add ins you choose.
Mix well.
Step 5: Place dough onto a cookie sheet using a tablespoon.
Once cookies are all laid out (I made 20 from this batch) flatten them down till they are about 1cm thick.
Step 6: Bake the cookies at 350 degrees F for a maximum of 12 minutes.
After the 12 minutes the cookies will not look cooked and this is normal because the banana will prevent them from drying  out like a normal cookie.
Step 7: Enjoy!
